Chinese dancing!

Next type of dancing is going to be from China.

China has so many different places and cultures like Africa that i decided that once again I could only write about one particular style. The type of dance I decided to talk about is 'wuju'. This is the chinese theatrical dance.

This is really used in opera in china like there national opera the peking or also called Bejing. In theatrical dance, vignettes are performed, these frame a moment in that is supposed to last longer than the narrative would. Most of the costume styles they wear are in the same style of the peking. A lot of folding fans are used to make the performance more visual.

Chinese wuju themes come from many different things some are based on fairy tales and literary references. The dances are often accompanied by traditional Chinese music played with a variety of instruments such as er-hu and pi-pa which are traditional chinese instruments.
